As We Are @ NIT,Surat

Now,
Our Institute Magazine is getting distributed in every hostel. So, before reading this post, go collect it from the distributors!!!
Here is the first impression samchar got,

  1.  The overall design is nice and departmental pages are also well designed. All credit goes to Somendra and Hitoshima (Designers).
  2. Most of the Faculty articles are related to Indian culture, heritage, technology, etc. in which giving Indian thoughts to the future engineers. Must read!
  3. Venkat(III CH), Jubin(III), K. Aditya(II MSC), Somak(II), Somendra(II)tried to put their nice views about insti, hostel life, MINDBEND, technology, teenage feelings, etc in words.
  4. After reading  Haritha(III)s' article "She walks Gracefully", just go thru the article of Yash(II) just few pages b4  wher the colr page starts. NICE JOB friends...
  5. Surprisingly, in the B-school Call getters' list, Sandeep Dev's(IIMA) name is not there!
  6. Smokers' Paradise got published without any Cutting, which tries to giv a msg "QUIT SMOKING".
  7. The name of the last yr magazine, forgot to tell, is retained this year too!
  8. Photos would have been better in couple of pages.  SVNIT is a place wher you can get wonderful pics.
  9. Sports list just showed athlets of our insti. For Samachar readers' info, SVNIT won some medals in the  other interNIT meets also. HANDBALL(Runners Up) and  Lawn Tennis(Run.Up), Badminton(Singles-Women).
  10. The most attracted article was by Ruchik. Just go thru it. Awesome.

Yet, link to soft copy to be updated in the site. We will provide you the link as early as we get it. Or you can give it in your comment to this post.

Anyway, cool magazine this time.
Can be rated as 6/10.

Its sad to hear….

L ....
SVNITians don’t know whats going-on  in the campus and why all these happening?

Samachar reporting two bitter news for SVNITians
  •   It may be the biggest mamla in last so-many years. Especially for IIIyrts, Submission of XX grade to 16 students in the elective “Environment” offered by CED. Today, in a notice undersigned by Director says that in a meeting held by a committee called BUGS decided to give XX to these students( ON THE BASIS OF THEIR ATTENDANCE REGISTERED FOR THE SUBJECT). This list covers students of almost all branches. Usually in IIIyr, somany students opt for subject offered by civil dept keeping in view their meek syllabus  and higher grades offered. But, this year such assumption didnot pay off. Instead, it seemed to have backfired badly. That too when the end-sems are in progress; the notice is really putting them under strenuous mental pressure. Acc to samachar survey, faculty incharge of the course also replied negative to the students who approached him. Considering the placements authorities may free these students. So, entire picture is yet unclear. Sources say that within a day the whole issue shall see a clear verdict. So, keep visiting Samachar for further updates.
  •  Every1 knows that usually final RENESA edition of every academic year is dedicated to Sentiapa of final yrts. But this time there is once again a negative statement from the authority. After solving all conflicts between RENESA editors and authorities, samachar thinks chemistry between them is not working well. It’s a very bad to hear that RENESA got designed, but not getting published at least before 9th MAY.   Anyway, it has been the worst sem for all final yearites.

After observing the above two things samachar thinks “From High court issues(Not getting? We will tell you abt this in the near future) to RENASA, center of all these conflicts seems to be -CED- only!!”
